Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 The Mets seek to take the series, sending Seth Lugo to the hill against José Urena.Fun facts! Lugo, in Spain, may merely be the fourth largest city in Galicia, but it is the only city in the world surrounded by completely intact Roman walls. Roots and bark of the Urena plant are used as an herbal remedy for hydrophobia.

Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 stop with the Rene Rivera.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Yeah, he is kinda superfluous, since that lineup has two catchers.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 We've faced this Urena guy twice this year and haven't hit him either time.- 1 R on 4 Hits over 6 innings on July 24 (Mets won 3-0)and then for some variety- 1 R on 4 Hits over 6 innings on Sept 1 (Mets lost 6-4)Other than that he's been more than hittable to other teams (5.95 ERA) and has been a mess in three of his four starts since the Sept 1st game vs us although oddly shut the Dodgers out on four hits through 8-2/3 in the other start ... so he's pretty much an erratic (near) rookie who we probably shouldn't even try to project on any given night.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 I project Duda is going to destroy him.

If he & Grandy are going to hit then I'll have to be okay with Conforto off the bench. If that's the way it's going to be I'll say right now that Conforto's going to do something HUGE off the bench.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Well when he does I'd hate to be whoever has to clean it up.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 I like when I sit down and it's 2-0 and then one pitch later it's 2-2.
