Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 6-1 Giants over the Rox in the 6th, so it's looking like no help tonight (although the SFG bullpen will be heard from before the night is over) and will likely be status quo tomorrow only with one more day erased from the schedule.

I can't say the BTO logo inspired me. I just took it and changed it. I'd like to think of it as a tribute. I always thought that was a kool fuckin logo. Saw most of the scoring, and saw Synderguard pitched like Thor. Was it Fammy in the 9th?I'm gonna watch this replay, or skim thru it now on MLBtv.Great game. I saw Bruce's and Cespedes HR earlier. Bruce's of course, was the one that makes me breath a little easier. But once again I have to say, I somehow want to see Conforto get at bats.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Yes, Familia pitched the 9th.And NICE logo Z!
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 (edited) That gave me a flashback.I lost a bet to an MFY fan over the Y2K World Series, so I had to write a song parody about his team. I used that song as the basis.Lyrics I remember were:You gotta' give them credit. They really won that sucker.Even the fat coward, bat tossing motherfucker.I have called him by no other name ever since. We all should.Later Edited September 28, 2016 by Guest
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Wow, this team is so different when Syndergaard is pitching and Bruce and Duda are hitting. Like World Series good.I know I'm getting way ahead of things, but man, if we could somehow get to the NLDS and get Noah two starts....(pinches self)Back to Lugo against the Marlins.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Imagine this game with better RiSP hitting (5/18) and fewer LOBs (12)?Batters Faced/Outs Recorded by Marlin pitchers in this gameKoehler: 21/11Cervenka: 4/2Ogando: 1/2McGowen: 5/2Nicolino: 4/4Brice: 4/1Dunn: 4/1Despaigne: 8/4
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 28, 2016 Author Posted September 28, 2016 Strange that Dee Gordon, who was a blubbering mess before and after his leadoff homer the night before, actually seemed to be having a good time, especially on that weird 3-4-6 play. A lot of them did. I guess baseball does help you heal.
