I'd like to think Curtis is on their 'A' lineup, especially after a day off. This game
is huge, the series is huge. Plus the 'buckets are there, gotta win one for them.

9.28 ERA since his Bucco side trip.

Mark my words. When we are all sharing a drink at the ticker tape parade, we will say to each other "I can't believe I'm saying this, but we would not be World Champions without Jonathon Niese."

Run to the title starts tonight.

Molina almost seemed to be crying that he let Reyes steal third off of him. That's some professional pride.

I have English closed-captioning this evening on SNY, but only on SNY. Weird.

I dont know why, but after the Flores homer the Mets felt more alive in the race to me than they have in a long time - maybe he can start crying again and turn things around for us!

I hat Jonathon Niese.

Puma via twttr: Might as well go ahead and DL Niese tomorrow to get another pitcher here.

I agree.

It's amazing how quickly the air can get sucked out of our balloon.
Wilmer's got another in him.

3-3 Mets

Gsellman has another 5 scoreless in him tonight.

Hopefully that is the last we have seen of Jon Niese as a Met. I'm ready for Ynoa and Gsellman to take us to the playoffs.

I step out to mow the lawn and find a 3-3 tie and Niese out of the game. And now we have a guy making his major-league debut in the first game of a must-wine series.

You have to love the Mets a whole lot to keep from hating them.
