Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 This was a fun thread, Metly mental gymnastics are fun any time of the year.I hope the missing pieces are harder than Ankiel, because I'm still in awe of that one by the Edgemeister.

You and both of the guys pictured below can count the remaining Mets on the fingers of one hand. batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2016 Author Posted August 12, 2016 Bump.Night time rules are now in effect. The no two in a rowing rule is modified. You may post two in a row guesses (or as many guesses in a row as you want to) so long as your in a row guesses are at least 10 minutes apart. This rule will remain in effect until 7:00 AM.The Management.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Was thinking of the early 90s shortstops—templetonschofieldfernandez. I don't think any of them did it, but thinking of them put me onto Jackson.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 I keep thinking there's some 2000s outfielder who played a short while with the Mets but had one good season elsewhere. I was surprised that Gary Mathews Jr. was wrong.Did Brady Clark ever hit 20 with Milwaukee? He had one good year with them I thought.

Who the hell knew that Mantilla once hit 30 HR's? You can make Felix Millan out of the letters in Mantilla's name.

batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2016 Author Posted August 25, 2016 ... and speaking of lists that were a total bitch to compile, I forgot all about this quiz. Anyone still interested? I've got two remaining answers, but I'm not so confident now that there might not be others besides the two I've got. All on account of that I missed three of the last six guesses -- Darrin Jackson, Ed Bressoud and Felix Mantilla, who, it turned out, hit 30, not just 20, for a team other than the Mets.Lemme know. Whoever gets any of the last two I got gets a top secret prize that nobody'll find out about because I'll put it in the winner's inbox and it won't be anybody else's business. Secret prizes is all the new rage here.
