ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 The Anderson dude had a good season in 2015 and clocks in at 240 lbs.But he has not run into the Colon.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 I've decided Bartolo, in looks and temperament, is sort of Chico Marx, inflated and reincarnated.Bartolo Colon, CMIR.

The 42-year-old Colon has accumulated 218 victories, including 75 with the Indians from 1997-2002, and hopes to help the Mets snap out of an early funk.New Yorks pitching staff has kept the team in games during a 3-5 start, but the Mets are batting .194 and averaging 2.5 runs per game after ending a four-game losing streak with a 2-1 win over Miami on Wednesday. Weve gotten off to a slow start, New York manager Terry Collins told reporters. It happens. Theres a lot of teams that get off to great starts and falter. The Indians have yet to lose a series and won their first by outscoring the Tampa Bay Rays 10-1 in two straight victories the past two days. Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 That lineup is uncontainable. It's also FUNcontainable! Now move yourself up, d'Arnaud.
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Very Metly crowd here tonight.Guy in front of me just booed Colon. Really. In general, though, he got a nice hand .
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Kipnis surprised me by not challenging De Aza's arm.
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Damn right it was foul. Even the Indians fans on the first base line agree.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Boo.Anyhow, shouldn't that error be on the cutoff man?
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 they're whaling on the whale tonight.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 We hit the ball hard all inning and come up with a goosegg.I suppose that's only fair, considering.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 - I was rooting for Walker to be held at 3rd during his entire dash around the bases. With no outs that was a bad send IMO- just another example of the promise that replay would be used only to overturn blatantly wrong calls is an unworkable ideal- gotta speed those replays up no matter what the call (that you can legislate a time limit with them is another false promise). Umps were 2:34 on headphones plus maybe 45 seconds leading up to it, and if you need that long then don't overturn.- not often you see 3 runs taken off the board in just the first 1-1/2 innings.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2016 Author Posted April 15, 2016 I would sit Grandy for a couple of days and bring Lagares out of the witness protection program.

Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Ohhhhhhhh, David. Please throw overhand.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Uribe and Byrdie chunky guys who can still get around the ball.Probably what you want against Coln.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 These guys have their regular numbers on the back of their helmets. Why do they hate Jackie Robinson?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Framey-framey, d'Arnaud. Very framey.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Seems like an unnecessary change (Robles for Bastardo) w/2 outs an done on and Bastrardo going well.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 Yeah, I thought that too. He's cruising. It's all Tony LaRussa's fault.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 De Aza making a statement that he belongs tonight.I though the Indians were wearing C's on their hats tonight, but I guess that's the batting helmet.
