No news and apparently not a sniff of interest from anyone about him.

Do you think his velocity is shot permanently? I would think that he would be getting a minor league deal from someone before January is over.

He might not get back to 99-100 regularly but he was spotting 96ish at time last year, his control was just gone. But that's something that's pretty common right after Tommy John, he's a prime candidate to have a nice bounceback year this year, he's certainly a guy I'd take a 2-3 million flyer on, but it'll probably happen closer to Spring (which, granted, is like 3 weeks away)

I imagine he's gotten sniffles, but he's holding out for a big league deal.

You think it would take that much? I was thinking 1-2 million with incentives.

junk change in terms of what pitchers generally get. an extra million or two here and there. Hell, he might be a guy that waits until Spring, shows up to a try out somewhere and if he can pop the gun will get a few more.

Parnell can throw wild pitches that give the Nationals walk-off wins for another team. Move on.

Parnell is just a guy now. He had neck surgery and elbow surgery in consecutive seasons. Not that he couldn't make a comeback but probably not worth a guaranteed ML deal at this point.

Guaranteed major-leaguers get guaranteed major-league deals.

Parnell's not that at this point, and the Mets aren't exactly lacking for tory m righty 'pen options.
