Edgy MD Site Manager Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 Some last-minute Christmas shopping going on. And all the fans of the Diamondbacks will be getting a minor-league Tim Stauffer contract under their trees.

Guest themetfairy Guests Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 He wasn't around long enough for me to get a photo of him. Or to remember anything about him.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 See, if you bought what the TV and movies were selling you, you'd think to cook the Stauffing INSIDE the Tim, but really, it's safer and gets you better results if you cook Stauffing and Tim separately. Feel free to stuff some Aramis in the Tim cavity instead, for smell and flavor.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted December 24, 2015 Author Posted December 24, 2015 Tim's most lasting place in Mets history is sort of as a stick in the eye of Dillon Gee.When they needed a handful of innings to be eaten as they set their staff in September, the most obvious answer would have been Gee. But Dillon, having taken his demotion so bitterly, would likely have been an awkward presence in the clubhouse, walking dead — and not a little galled — among his old friends. My guess is Sandy didn't want that sort of specter hanging around and went for Stauffer because he was more easily disposed of without scenes and distractions.

You coulda, for example, put that list out there and asked us what it signified. Or left Stauffer off the list and asked us to name the Met that continues the pattern.Don't tell me that you knew that list off the top of your head.Did you?

Have always thought he's Jessie for reasons that are obscure to me.Last Mets In is a familiar topic to me.http://www.faithandfearinflushing.com/2012/10/02/the-last-picked-mets/
