I was making Topps style playoff cards for most of the post-season, but didn't get around to completing the World Series cards until a few days after the series ended. When I finally got around to making one of those standard winning-team-celebrates cards

I came across these pictures during my search for a suitable photo:

That can't be coincidental, right? The Royals set up on top of the Mets on-deck circle logo, with the WS trophy, and deliberately spread out around the logo so that it would be visible for the assembled photographers. They rubbed it in, no?
