I would have tried to let Colon pitch the seventh and the eighth and then to Familia. Don't burn through pitchers so quickly in a close game.

What Vladius said above. There was no reason to take Colon out. Maybe he is awful but maybe he pitches a clean inning which pushes Reed to the 8th and no Clippard.

Agree with leaving in Colon. I wouldn't want anyone pitching in relief to pitch to the same guy twice but for the love of God, he's a starter. Let him go through the line-up once.
