Some people call me the captain. I can admit, other than that Game 1 hit, I had a pretty stinky NLDS.

But I dare any opposing pitcher to have a false sense of security. I can strike at any time and should still be one of the most feared hitters in the lineup.

I'm looking forward to sending a baseball or two out to Waveland Avenue.

I'm David Wright and I need to go the other way. Don't tell Moiph.

These things read like the reverse side of the Marvel 7-Eleven Slurpee cups that I collected when I was a kid.

I'd settle for, like, half of Justin Turner's NLDS output, really. And saying that makes the contents of my tummy feel unsettled.

Sure has. Doesn't look like a guy who suffered back pain all year long.

That's really nice!

I'm so happy that David Wright is going to get to play in a World Series. I'm glad he's being rewarded for that leap of faith that he took in resigning with the Mets. I have to admit, I had my doubts it would happen during his remaining time with the Mets.

He made one hell of a catch with the bases loaded. What a dagger for what was left of the Cub heartbeat.

What are you talking about? You're the guy who said Colon was going to pitch in the 2015 World Series.

The way things have been going, I thought that Larry Jones had sent him a gift card for Hooters.

That is pretty awesome. Classy move by the Cubs.
