TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Some people call me the captain. I can admit, other than that Game 1 hit, I had a pretty stinky NLDS.But I dare any opposing pitcher to have a false sense of security. I can strike at any time and should still be one of the most feared hitters in the lineup.I'm looking forward to sending a baseball or two out to Waveland Avenue.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Be nice for David to get untracked against the lefty Lester in Game 1.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 I'm David Wright and I need to go the other way. Don't tell Moiph.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 I'd settle for, like, half of Justin Turner's NLDS output, really. And saying that makes the contents of my tummy feel unsettled.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Way to forsake the World Series hat and wear the real thing for the interview, David.

I'm glad he's being rewarded for that leap of faith that he took in resigning with the Mets. I have to admit, I had my doubts it would happen during his remaining time with the Mets.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 He made one hell of a catch with the bases loaded. What a dagger for what was left of the Cub heartbeat.
