Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Koehler suddenly can't miss the strike zone and when he does we swing at it anyway.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Grandy's least hard hit ball gets him a hit. Mets threatening w/2 out, 2 on, Wright up.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Meanwhile, the Out of Town Scoreboard shows the Nat and Braves tied at 1. Atlanta has the bases loaded with one out. I'm hoping for a few Atlanta hits to break this one open.Upon edit: Friggin infield pop up leaves the bases juiced, but now with 2 outs. Followed by a ground out to second base to end the threat. Still tied at 1.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Man, when Cespedes extends his arms he really really drills it. Triple.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Ohhhh, this is tough. They walk Tejada to get to deGrom. Bases Metropolitaned. 2 out. 3-2.Ugh. Well, he didn't K. Grounds out.You hold 'em there Jacob.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Okay, they closed the gap and Plumbing Fixture is near 100 pitches. This is doable.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Nats & Braves taking turns NOT cashing in on bases-loaded situations.1-1 top 7. Nats are churning through pitchers like they think they need every game or something. Used 3 thru 6 even though only 1 run given up.

Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 I'm really going to miss Cespedes next year, but I'm enjoying him while the Mets habve him.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 I felt that one coming.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Well, if we went and got Prado 3 months ago like I suggested that wouldn't have happened.4-4 Mets.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Saw both a Wright and a Seaver jersey in the stands on that foul ball. Niiiiice.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 I'm w/Keith. 3-2 slider? Ugh. Shame about the preceeding pitch. Did look like a strike but one that could have gone either way.5-4 Vice City
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 They REALLY need to figure out how to get through the 7th inning.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Thank the Lord for double plays!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 'bout time the Marlins actually hit one AT one of our guys. Not to take too much away from their hitters tonight, but virtually everything they've hit tonight has found a hole.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Has Wilmer arrived yet?
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 We need to get Cespedes another at bat. Hopefully, this inning.
