Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Hey Machi, one pitcher on the mound at a time, dude!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Pitch like the All-Star you know you are, Jeurys.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Familia with a 3-0 lead out to get Niese a much deserved win. LETS GO METS!
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think the main utility we'd get out of Lucas Duda would be as a defensive replacement.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 3 GOs and a FO for Posey tonight, including the key GO w/2-outs/bases loaded.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Washington are losers tonight, as are the Cubs. Dodgers are tied in the sixth.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Duda will heat up again after the break. Newy is going to be an asset from here on out.

Their offense was inept again. That Lagares blunder was one of the dumbest things I have seen in a while, and everyone is fucking up bunting (both calling them and executing). On the other hand, Familia is fucking awesome. I remember sweating through 9th innings, even with a 3 run lead. Last night, I went to make a sandwich and though to myself "I can probably make it back in time to see the last out." I just barely did.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 I trust Familia as much as I have any closer in some time.I'm hoping getting Mejia back will solidify the pen. It doesn't hurt that all of our starters are capable of throwing at least 6 innings every night.Bad baseball? Mostly, yes. But watching Cuddyer, Nieuwenhuis, Monell and Lagares all come up with clutch hits in the same inning was a sight for sore eyes.
