Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 We finally beat an opposing outfielder. Ceciliani with a lead off double.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Now isn't that better than a bunt Juan? ... or Terry?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Grandy drives him in. Lags follows with a base knock! Go crazy Mets!4-4
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 The ol' double play. Foiled again. Just stroke it up the middle Cuddy.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 We got a pinch-hit. Us. Our team. The Mets. A pinch-hit.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 So that's two more unearned runs against Niese's ledger, giving him 11 of the 24 UER that the Mets have given up this year - or nearly half in approx 13% of the innings pitched.

I just don't enjoy seeing it.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 No more predictin' outta me. If Flores swung at that first pitch he would'a launched one.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 That was drilled too. I've seen some drilling tonight.Maxwell, your showboating skills suck.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Can't waste opportunities against these guyz.Familia coming on. Sheesh, I dunno about that.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 OHouch! That was looking to be an awful at bat by Granderson and PLUNK.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 (edited) Niiiice. Cuddy with a walk off single!! First time this season the Giants lose on a walkoff. Huge to do that after what they've done to us last two. Good game. Edited June 11, 2015 by Guest
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Nice eighties-lookin' rainbow pastel tee shirt, Box-Seat-Guy-Camera-Phoning-Cuddyer.Your gigantic old school Marlins fan buddy = even more anachronistic.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 We're a much better team with d'Arnaud back. Put him 2nd in the order again and it won't be so close.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 I think Terry just wanted to be sure the pitch recognition was there. He'll be batting second by Saturday, I imagine.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Niese deserves beaucoup credit for digging himself out of his own hole in the first and hanging on for seven. That first double-play might have been the TPotG, as early as it was. I half thought Terry would play the infield in then, considering how insurmountable a 20 deficit can feel like these days.
