Nice. A lucky K (curve in the dirt) to start. Quick inning, 7 pitches. Very nice.

He threw at least one curve. Fowler looked at Noah's ArcTM, and was all, like, "Ar-ar-ar-ar-at?"

That Arrieta curve to get Duda wasn't half-bad, neither.

Did he throw nothing but 97-99 MPH fastballs?

Got Fowler on hammer that bounced at his toes.

I'm tempted to give this intentional walk an intentional boo.

Syndergaard facing Castro. John Harper must be totally plotzing.

Syndergaard embarrassed the guy.

Tejada looks extra small tonight for some reason. Must be the lighting.

0-0, mid 3rd.

I suppose it would be really tough to scare up the stats about what's the highest pct of time that a team has gone through the lineup the first time around without recording a hit -- but, whatever it is, the 2015 Mets have sure done it a bunch of times this year.

I doubt they still have kangaroo court, but Murphy needs to

Damn. That play was totally in front of Grandy too. What a bad decision. There are times to be aggressive, force them to make the play. That wasn't one of em.

OH, oh boy what a catch by Cuddy. He misses that and there's a Cub on 3rd...at least.

So, appropriately enough, the hammer's his finishing-weapon-of-choice tonight.

I'm getting too used to, and spoiled by, the 2015 Mets pitchers, getting way too grumpy with Synderballs outside the strike zone.
