Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 I borrowed these from a site and put them on thekcmets server... feel free to use them for IGT's, KTE's, GFY's, C&D's, etc.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Not sure what you mean, but the logo's are cool. No?
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 That's so cool. I never knew there were so many baseball logos.I'm gonna put all of 'em on my kitchen wall. I can't wait. Wanna come over and see 'em when I'm done? We can play Candyland after.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 One pretty good indicator of an overworked/ineffective logo design is when it's got a generic-font spelling-font of the team name circling it.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Almost all of those logos suck -- at least at the size I'm seeing 'em on my computer. For reference, the Mets logo is one inch high on my screen; the DBacks logo is seven eighths of an inch high. Most of them just don't scale well at that size range. I like the Marlins logo the best, at that size. It's simple, yet it effectively invokes the vibrant and colorful culture of the host city of Miami and the team nickname, in one fluid modern design. But even so, some of the design element is still lost. When enlarged a little bit, you can see that the smaller version atop this thread looks flatter than it's supposed to.[fimg=133]http://everitas.univmiami.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/Marlins-Logo-2-374x347.jpg[/fimg]
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 I vote for the Rockies logo as the one that looks most like a refrigerator magnet.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Of all the single letter logos, the Detroit "D" is the classiest.Later

Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Thanks for the logos!I think the Pirates last season switched to a single-letter logo, too. When you see them all together like that, you really see just how good the Mets logo is, and how fortunate they are that the team hasn't really messed with it, other than removing the NY. (The black version never existed in my mind.)
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Niiiice. Love the logos. Thank you sir.I dunno if you should be displaying the Magnificent Mets Logo with all those average and below average ones. It's not very fair to those other logos.
