Brad Hand is the Dillon Gee of the Marlins � or at least what Dillon Gee was 24 hours ago � a perfectly viable big league starter waiting for an injury to return him to the rotation, the number six starter on a five-man staff. But the Mets did little against him, despite starting seven of their eight expected opening day players.
   
   
   
5. The Mets St. Patrick's Day hat was understated this year � solid kelly green with the NY insignia and beanie button in Ulster orange. No Mr. Metprechaun.

Alexa Datt. She was one of the 'hey, come out to Citi and get a Mets fedora!" girls last year on SNY.

They've sorta sprung this on us, so i'm unsure if she's just sorta a "who cares, it's spring" fill-in or if she'll get to actually do stuff this year. I'm hoping for that, not enamored with Gelbs.
