Sure, I may not be the most talked-about prospect in camp, but I'm... oh wait... I AM the most talked about prospect in camp. I'm tall, strapping, I got three plus pitches and maybe a fourth on the way, and I got a girl who's pretty AND kinda crazy. Plus, I've got two consecutive a's in my last name. And that, as they say, is badass.

What don't I have? In a phrase, table manners. And that, and everything it represents, may or may not be indicative of why I haven't yet debuted. I don't know. But 2015 looks like a launch year for me. What do you see?

At the QBC, Wally Backman was adamant that Thor needs some more time in Vegas before he'll be ready for the majors. Perhaps we'll see him up north in the second half of the season.

What do I see?
From that picture, I se a pitcher with a weird leg kick in his follow through.
As for this year, he'll start the season at AAA, but I'm not sure how he'll improve his table manners at those Las Vegas Casino pig out buffets.
He will. however, improve his control, command and secondary pitches so well that he'll be called up mid year.
From that point, he'll go 8-3, 3.28, 1.22 WHIP and have serious consideration for ROY.

From the small bits I've seen from him, I worry about his CAHN-fidence and attitude on the mound more than I worry about his stuff. Maybe I'm spoiled from watching Harvey be so fearless when he starts, but Noah seems to have a little Pelfrey in him. I'm hoping he can fight through that.

I'm happy that we have the arms and won't have to rush him. I say give him as much AAA work as we can and ease him in slowly when the majors call.

I'm not banking on any significant contributions from him until 2016.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Matz arrived before Syndergaard did.

Either way, I think it's fairly likely that one of them, if not both, will join the Mets rotation before July 1.
