what, you're saying Social Media is all a bunch of noise and you can generally find whatever confirmation you want?

1. Mets engaged fans. That's good.
2. Mets promoting Mets pride, which is good.
3. There's the "all press is good press" thing too, which the trolls are only feeding here.

So what's the results?
-bitter mets fans get sarcastic on Twitter, but do that anyway.
-Writers pushing narrative get to play the #lolMets card. fine. they were going to do that anyway.
-a few fans feel genuinely pleased to be engaged by the team they love.

Yup, think this worked out just fine for the Mets.

Okay, maybe the media orgs cherry-picked those tweets. But they're newsworthy. Because the Mets are in a depression. Because the team is bankrupt, financially, and apparently, morally. And because other fan-bases probably wouldn't have generated those snarky tweets in response to a hypothetically similar social media campaign.

I went to Twitter to see for myself, instead of relying on the cherry-picking done in the tabloids. And I noticed that the tweets were all negative. Except for three from some "LS" tweeter.

I then figured out from seawolf's post that you're LS. Didn't know that until today.
