Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 I'm pretty sure I've seen Colon giggle to himself, like, three times tonight. It's understandable, and charming, AND creepy, all at once. And now he's tossing the ball to himself between batters. He couldn't look any more relaxed if he had those pedicure things between his toes.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Maybe a little too relaxed.Yeah, he sure as hell won't be jogging off this field.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 I kinda have almost complete confidence that we can hold this lead. It's nice to have faith in a bullpen. I'm not used to it.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 We are beginning to see the d'Arnaud the scouts all liked as he was coming up.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 btw, I think it was in the 1st inning when discussing a spinning foul ball that Ronnie said it looked like a hit that was made by 'Fats Domino'.Umm, I think you meant 'Minnesota Fats' Ronnie. No beer for you tonight in the announcer of the game points.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Howie seconds that! Damn good game. Man, Phils suck these days (had to say it cuz I could).
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Not often that a team gets 13 hits and still gets smushed.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Nice night at the park, and nice job stranding runners by Bartolo in his last-ever Mets start.Good weather, lots of Mets offense, Phillies lose, douchebag in Cliff Lee jersey kicked out by security - a fine night all around.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Yankees lose. Nats lose. Mets win and gain on first.

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Great picture. The MFPs are used to seeing that green piece of crap and were face to face with the best mascot in sports.

But the Phanatic's alright too.LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr wrote:I'm pretty sure I've seen Colon giggle to himself, like, three times tonight.
