That, btw, was the 2nd run scored by Bartolo in his career, the first since 2002 w/Montreal.

He drove in Fernando Tatis in that game, before being driven in by Jose Macias.

Eric Young was leading off for the Brewers.

Mike DeJean finished the game for the Brewers.

Fast forward to 2005 and DeJean gave up the last Bartolo hit while with the Mets.

Don't really think any of today's stuff were mental errors (yesterday was another story).
Murph took a decent chance but got thrown out on a nice play/throw by Jay in CF. Granderson's was just a straight steal attempt (would have helped had CYoung not swung through another pitch) and Wright was safe but then bounced off the base with his slide.

Well, I'm whistling Wright.

Eric Young is formless, shapeless. HE CANNOT BE CONTAINED.

That was one where, even though it never went to replay, the existence of the replay rule likely caused the out call because it certainly would have been reversed upon review had the Cards challenged it.
David just slid a bit late and hit the bag kind of hard and awkwardly then couldn't do the right-foot/left-foot switch quickly enough.

My first guess as to who drove him in was Ty Cobb.

Or, funnier, Julio Franco.

Josh making it seem as though the plan was to allow 2 runners so as to exploit Holliday's double-play tendencies.
