What was Keith talking about?

Happy for the break, but it ain't right that a guy drives a ball down the line like that and the carom holds him to a mere single.

He made a funny ... Fred Astaire, Fred Asparagus
when the ump danced out of the way of hit.

I think.

OK!

OK in a close-my-eyes-until-the-boat-stops-rocking-and-we're-to-the-next-port way, maybe.

This is where I think Terry over-plays the double-switch.
Is he really planning on holding Farnsworth over for more than one inning? With two outs maybe he is, but if not then the double switch loses its purpose. All it does, in effect, is pre-announces the pinch-hitter.

I'd say Lucas is making a statement tonight. Good for him!

Interesting that the Reds are bringing in their only lefty now, two out and Murphy coming up.

Figured they'd save him for Grandy and Duda.

Can't trust this bullpen to get 6 outs and not give up a run, however.

I'd like about 5 insurance runs, please!

OK so he does stick with Farnsworth (which probably makes sense at this point) so I withdraw my premature rant.

Farnsworth apparently moved to tears by Recker's beautiful throw. give him a second. let him collect.

Looks like Farnsworth had some words for the HP ump after that third out.

That's why Faransworth is a pinhead at times.
The pitch was close but it was a ball, and you got out of the inning anyway. Let it go!
