Guest themetfairy Guests Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Asparagus? What was Keith talking about?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Happy for the break, but it ain't right that a guy drives a ball down the line like that and the carom holds him to a mere single.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 This is where I think Terry over-plays the double-switch.Is he really planning on holding Farnsworth over for more than one inning? With two outs maybe he is, but if not then the double switch loses its purpose. All it does, in effect, is pre-announces the pinch-hitter.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 It's all good. Duda will get another at-bat.
Guest Mets Guy in Michigan Guests Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I'd say Lucas is making a statement tonight. Good for him!

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Interesting that the Reds are bringing in their only lefty now, two out and Murphy coming up.Figured they'd save him for Grandy and Duda.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Can't trust this bullpen to get 6 outs and not give up a run, however.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 He's not THAT fast. Recker with the dart.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 My favorite thing about Recker is that he rocks the old school catcher's mask.Nice throw out.
Guest Mixtapewormhole Guests Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Farnsworth apparently moved to tears by Recker's beautiful throw. give him a second. let him collect.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Looks like Farnsworth had some words for the HP ump after that third out.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I think I just heard some salty talk from Ron and Keith between innings as they came back in a little early.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Sorry, but they just look like the Cubs to me in those blue jerseys.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Hey Valverde, let's NOT let this get to Votto & Bruce, mmkay?
