It's getting old. He's fine. made all the plays. seems at least capable on the DP. (he was never really a plus SS) I don't really have a problem with him not barreling into a bigger than he is catcher when he was out by 5 feet. The chances he scores there by doing so are less than 1%. Loboton was just positioned too well. 2 feet up the line with the ball already in his glove and waiting.

It's only a matter of time before I start aiming my cross-hairs at Terry. He got an extension after three years of finishing under 80 wins. I'm not going to hang him after three games...but there has been very little fire thus far.

There's bad, and there's tough-luck losses... and then there's just plain abject, poop-in-a-uniform stuff. It's not that I've given up on the season, Cee. It's that each of the last three games has gotten difficult to listen to/watch somewhere before the ending.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Was so busy at work that I missed all updates from the game today, and then ignored my phone and sports news long enough to sit down tonight and watch the encore. Which, of course, sucked a big fat mackerel.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I guess the only good news here is that we got through the game without needing to put anyone on the DL - a first for this season.
