I can tell that we've reached the point in the season where few people care to do this anymore, which is understandable. But I'm determined to finish out the season! All three games played against the Phillies this past weekend will, despite their low vote totals, close on Friday morning, some time after 10 a.m. This will close out the month of August.

I don't think he's going to get a lot of suds, but this seems to be the thread for this. (Maybe it should be separate?)
I believe that over the last two years, Carlos Torres has been the glue that has held the staff together. He has been used as a starter, middle man, setup man and closer. And for the most part, has done pretty well in each of those roles.
Carlos, the next time I hoist a cold one, I'll be toasting you.
