I'm not impressed at all with the Braves, beyond, you know, acknowledging they have a few good players. But jeez they ain't a 15-games-over-.500 team are they?

Thanks, Jus'.

Love me that two-out-rally action.

Hey, I just got to third base with Anthony Recker! OHMYGAWDOHMYGAWD!!

They've somehow done it with half a lineup all year. Maybe it's the rest of the division all not having their shit together.

Talk about the breaks. If Valvaro kicks that ball to a fielder, we're in the bottom of the inning with Aardsma or somebody and hanging on by the skin of our teeth.

They are because of their starting pitching.
Erratic in a lot of other places though. Very hit-n-miss offense and, like I said a few posts ago, their pen isn't nearly as deep as what we've been used to in recent years, particularly from the left side.

Y'know, Nietzsche says: "Out of chaos comes order."

Yes he did, during the football game in The Longest Yard.

Meanwhile, Atchison expected to be out 2-3 weeks with rheumatism, consumption and the grippe.

For all the baseball that's been played today, Met pitchers have yet to throw a pitch behind in the score.
That one friggin pitch to Freeman is the only real blemish in the last 22 hours.

They are like so totally scared of Anthony I mean it like they won't even throw him a strike.

Anybody else notice that Swan Swan H has slowly but definitively become the funniest guy on the forum?

Step it up, LWFS.

Really, it's gonna be "pandemonium in the big apple" tonight and tomorrow.

A successful double-header and perhaps a glimpse into the Harvey-heeler win-filled future!

for any Heat-haters out there, they are down 10 to start 4th quarter of game 6 right now. its the Tim Duncan revival show so far tonight, 30 pts and a crazy 13-16 from the field
