Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 The Upton Brothers are playing like Dr. Joyce Brothers.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I'm not impressed at all with the Braves, beyond, you know, acknowledging they have a few good players. But jeez they ain't a 15-games-over-.500 team are they?

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 18, 2013 Author Posted June 18, 2013 Talk about the breaks. If Valvaro kicks that ball to a fielder, we're in the bottom of the inning with Aardsma or somebody and hanging on by the skin of our teeth.

Very hit-n-miss offense and, like I said a few posts ago, their pen isn't nearly as deep as what we've been used to in recent years, particularly from the left side.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 For all the baseball that's been played today, Met pitchers have yet to throw a pitch behind in the score. That one friggin pitch to Freeman is the only real blemish in the last 22 hours.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 They are like so totally scared of Anthony I mean it like they won't even throw him a strike.
