We should spend this entire game ASG/voting for Wright and Murphy.

I'm gonna vote Buck and Davis and Tejada and Duda/Beltran/Baxter as well.

The thing I like about that double by Valdesac is the way he looked to the third base coach as he approached second. We were both thinking triple and Tuefel (if hes coaching 3rd tonite) wisely thought otherwise.

Can I ask a question, if Hefner continued in the rotation, would he be on pace for MOST HOMERS ALLOWED in a season?

No clue. I thought Carson was gonna break that record from the pen.

You see that Harper clip of him running into the wall? I heard about it and saw stills, not the clip. I figured he caught it. Not only did he not catch it, he didn't even know the wall was there until he thumped into it.

Fortunately, we have the Ultimate Mets Database for just such a question.

1. Roger Craig. 1962: 35
2. Pedro Astacio, 2002: 32
3. Jay Hook, 1962: 31
T4. Pete Harnisch, 1996: 30
T4. Rick Reed, 1998: 30
6. Steve Trachsel, 2001: 28
T7. Rick Reed, 2000: 28
T7. Roger Craig, 1963: 28
9. Chris Capuano, 2011: 27
T10. Jack Fisher, 1966: 26
T10. Steve Trachsel, 2003: 26
T10. Bobby Jones, 1996: 26
T10. Frank Tanana, 1993: 26

Hefner is looking at around 32-33.

Q has def increased the offense we're getting from SS
Now we just have to see if he can go more than one game in a row without making an error.

that doesn't take much...Tejada gives you about as much offense as Tim Bogar (except with less power, less speed and less defense)...

uh oh. Whats Gary referring to.....

20 players to be suspended for 100 games re: that Miami clinic business. A-Rod and Braun among them.

OE: thats not official. Just going on what Gary has said.

Maybe not. That was NOT a good time for your first walk of the night Hefner. Desmond takes a trolley to...NOW GET THIS OUT!

That was more a hit than Valdes first time up. Jeeze, these official scorers.

I agree w/Ronnie. Go for it. Jordany thrown out trying to steal.
