She's quickly become the whackiest member of my small group of followees. Today I tune in to find her AT WAR with some other chick (apparently a family friend of the Hambones) who (purposefully? inadvertently?) opened up some raw feelings over girlyfriend's cool reception from Hambone's Mom and sister. Like them, I'm not sure I approve. Anyway following a catfight on Twitter (which has involved dozens of exchanges starting lat night) is next to impossible but here's the gist in a few whacky posts!

I just listened to about a 1/2 hour of Francesa (for maybe the first time in maybe a year or so) and he was all down on Twitter, like it's going to be the ruination of the nation. Mainly he seemed to be exorcised over Kobe's in-game Tweeting but there was also something about a Tweeted threat somewhere; 'Man, they gotta do something about Twitter' he says, without specifying who 'They' or what 'Something' might be.

I'm afraid this cat fight may just add fuel to his fire; we just can't have minor league ballplayers distracted like this.

I think it boils down to hammy's gf's behavior on Twitter has her pegged as a Baseball Annie by well-meaning but graceless members of his family, and those suspicions are driving wedges between mother & son, brother & sister, etc. None of them have the good sense to keep it off Twitter.

Two big turns in the dispute were (1) when a frenemy or two was (correctly, but less than tactfully) tweeting to her that if she's gonna make a better impression on his family, she should keep her crazy shit offline, and she went nuclear on her or them, calling her or them jealous, and (2) when she went from indignation to self-pity, either as a breakdown or new (and, again, tactless) strategy to garner sympathy, and started tweeting worse things about herself than anyone else had, including ugly alleged biographical details, and how unworthy she had ever been of @Ham_Bone28's Metlove in the first place. Bennett, to his credit, has been as twittersilent as the grave. (Not that dead people don't tweet. They do!) *As if that's a sure thing.
