ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 The game is on SNY and Zack Wheeler gets the start.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Zach was scratched. Gorski is starting.

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2013 Author Posted February 27, 2013 Wheeler with a right oblique pull..not good.
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Good luck, Mr. Gorski.

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Just sitting down to watch this game now (I'll read the thread later). One thing I noticed during the intro by Ron, Kevin and Keith....I know Keith shaved the stash but somehow my mind fills in that blank space. Its like a picture with something missing and the mind fills it in with what should be there. So when I first see Keith, I see that barren real estate and feel kinda odd, then my brain puts the mustache right back on him.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Yeah, I was doing the same thing with Keith's negative mustache space.um, don't watch the game.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 What Zvon doesn't know is that he's about to see Carlos Torres and Greg Burke get raked through the mud as the Beltran-led Cards shake down the Mets to the tune of 12-4. Enjoy the homers, by (bidibidi) Buck, Cowgill, and Recker, Zvon, and the scoreless inning by Parnell, Zvon, but it's no happy recap for ya.

I recommend this to any Met fan. Keeps you sane.Only in the 6th but yes, this is pretty bad azzkickin here. Read your thread Edge, and thats good, cuz otherwise I'd be on the edge of my seat waiting for the comeback inning.Saw Bucks homer. That was just a double that the wall got out of the way of, but it was ripped. I was more concerned with him behind the plate and, aside from his ability to talk to pitchers, I'm still waiting to be impressed.Duda got a hit! I feel its so important that he has at least an average season at the plate, for an outfielder, and plays a full one.As I watch (haven't been able to view uninterrupted) its 8-2...OUCH....9-2. Looking foward to seeing those other two Met kabooms.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 I might have lied about those.
