Too bad the chat lagged (at least for me). I am THRILLED at this year's edition of the Lunchladies. Hardly any foolish overbids, depth in the lineup, nothing wasted on pitching, $$ leftover (I went 0-for-4 in all four categories last year). I predict total domination!!!!!

well, i expected prices to go way up this season, but instead, for hte most part, tehy are way below what we were paying for players last year.

i've got a bit of a logjam at third base, and am willing to find a new home for one of my hot cornermen. i kinda wish votto would have come up before miggy, as he would have better fit my team's needs, but i cannot complain about a $33 miggy. i simply couldn't let him pass, even if it means ultimately giving up either an evan longoria ($38) or a brett lawrie ($22).

make your offers! i could use help at 2b, of, and i won't turn my nose up at a compelling pitching offer.

Not sure if Lunchie is aware, but it looks to me like he's got Cuddyer listed twice on his roster, counting against his cap twice and making it look like he has 40 players, but he only has 39.

Think Russell Martin caused the problem. I dumped him (and it dumped both) and re-added him which seemed to work.

FYI...like last season, the roster lineups have been reset...so everyone you have is a bench player until you denote otherwise.

Make sure you check before opening day.

So....I've got a problem.

I have Zack Wheeler on my team and I set him as one of my starting pitchers yesterday. This screenshot from last night shows that he was set:



Last night, I noticed that he was not being included in my live updates:



I thought maybe they would fix it and give me the stats this morning, but they didn't:



I can see that they still have him listed in AAA (as a player for Toronto...I can only imagine that is because Las Vegas was the Toronto AAA affiliate last season). Maybe there was some snafu with him being promoted as the 26th man on the double header roster and then sent back down. But he did pitch a major league game, I did have him set as a SP and I could use the 6 scoreless innings and 7Ks.

Ceetar - is there anyone you can contact (or I can contact) at the league to check on this.

Part of the joy of this league is that it is a keeper league. Drafting Wheeler back in March of 2012 and waiting 15 months to start him only to not get his stats would be a bummer.

I almost forgot to start him myself because I had him in the Minors slot and he didn't get the little ^

But look at your IP totals for Starters Total and compare it to the pitchers listed. missing 6IP. I think it worked fine, but I'm gonna email them about it anyway.

If I add up the totals in the final screen shot above, they do include Wheeler's stats...he's just not individually listed on the breakdown.

No worries then...they just presented it very confusingly. Thanks for checking...this had been worrying me all day.

what a difference a year makes!

as of today, i have hte top spot in all four offensive categories, as well as pitchers' strikeouts. i don't know if this torrid pace can hold up, but, damn, it feels good.

there's still a game tonight. muddy chickens trails the death machine by one run, and has three players going tonight, whereas the machine of death does not carry any rays or rangers. if muddy chickens scores one run, we tie for first. if he scores two runs, he wins.

unless i break my stalemate at OBP with the mohawk red flyers. we're deadlocked down to four decimal places. i, too, have a few guys going tonight, and hopefully it swings in the right direction!

Holy shit that was tight. Happy to have eked out a narrow win, thanks in part to a missed call on a bouncing ball into leonys martin's glove, keeping wil Myers from scoring a run.

I wonder if there's a tie-breaker on ottoneu, and feel somewhat fortunate not to need to find out.
