R.A. Dickey is poised to be the 16th different Met, and 27th overall, to garner consideration in the Cy Young voting. Name the other 15, One guess per post.

George Thomas Seaver
8 times in 9 years.

Picked up the win in 1969, 1973 and 1975

Runner up in 1971 to Ferguson Jenkins

Bit of a cheat due to well known circumstances, but 3rd in 1977

Other finishes: 7th in 1970, 5th in 1972, 8th in 1976

The Good Doctor K is the only other multiple time Met with 5

1985 winner of course

The year earlier finished second to Rick Sutcliffe, his only other top 3 finish

1986 finished 7th, 1987 finished 5th and 1990 finished 4th

How deep does the list go per season? Top 10 votegetters?

Depends on the year, usually just 4-8 deep. Hardly ever double digits like it is with the MVP voting.

We get a few more

7th in the 1994 voting.

6th in 1998 (this is his 1999 card due to no Al Leiter as a Met card in the 1998 Topps base)

3rd in 2008

3rd in 1990

4th in 1986, the Mets had 4 pitchers receive votes that year!

3rd in 1994. And we have all of the Mets top three finishes

7th, tied with Doc, in the 1986 vote

5th in that 1986 vote

Nope to Mike Hampton! Leiter's 1998 was the last time a Met would garner a CY vote until this guy, well after the Valentine era was over.

And the only other guy is a well regarded 2nd-3rd starter Met whom probably got swept up in a very Metly voting year.
