Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 Section 509, row 7, perfect baseball weather for Fboy and I. Too bad Johan took a big shit on the mound.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 The sad thing is that FBoy posted that....
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 All right, I know Atlanta has like 18 hits at this point and we are earning every bit of this ass-kicking ... but, c;mon, have more than 4 or 5 of those balls been hit hard?Every ball they've hit hard has found a hole, and every ball they haven't hit hard has found a hole.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2012 Author Posted August 11, 2012 The bullpen has been good.Is Santana hurt again?
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 I think he left it all at the No No.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2012 Author Posted August 11, 2012 Lets see..Santana & Bay 50 million next year...Please keep Wright Fred.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 With the exception of the product on the field, most everything wet well tonight for Fboy and I. We got in and out of the stadium without hitting traffic, Fboy hit two home runs at the kids' batting tee (and followed it with his best "back to back, and belly to belly!" John Sterling impression), we ate and snacked well under warm skies and light breezes. The highlight was a chance encounter in the Mets HOF prior to game time... we were admiring the original Mr. Met head when a kind gentleman asked Fboy and I if we were life long Mets fans. I confirmed this and let him know how far we had journeyed for tonight's game. He quickly whipped a shiny World Series ring off his finger and asked my son if he wanted to try it on. I got a great picture of it. The man was Greg Cashen, son of Frank. A really great gesture. Will post the pic when I get home tomorrow.
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 It's hard to say that any one offensive AB was a major factor in a 9-3 loss, but Thole's DP in the second really let out whatever air was left in the balloon. Who knows, if he singles and makes it 9-2, Hefner bunts, and if Tejada can sneak one in there maybe there's a comeback in the cards. After that, it's Kiss Cam and Let's Boo Bay.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Thole, once again, never got a ball out of the infield -- 3 GOs (1 GiDP + twice 6-3) and a K

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 WOW! Awesome pic! If I knew he was gonna hit two homers I would have made some Fboy KaBOOMS.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 I'll have to get some action shots of Fboy swinging in Mets garb... his Little League team has been the Yankees every year, all of his action shots are in MFY colors.
