Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Nice to score here and face the lower part of the order in the ninth.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Marlins leading Braves 2-0 in the 9th - and continuing their recent trend of seemingly using everyone except Heath Bell to try and close it out.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 God bless the double play. How about a walk off win, boys? Throw me a frickin bone here.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Let's walk this stupid thing off. Really things look desperate but a single shot of CAHNfidence could do wonders for these guys.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Thank the almighty for the GiDP. Lately whenever I see a cheesy single I automatically assume that something bad is going to follow it.And tonight, three of the Nats' hit haven't left the infield.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Parnell's actually been really good (as a "closer"/over the last few weeks), bad results notwithstanding; two of the three pitches on which he's given up the ghost since the break have been really, REALLY good pitches that just happened to get tagged.Anyway, yeah, let's finish this.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Hey Davey, how'd the last lefty/lefty match-up against Ike work out?
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I hope Ike does the same thing to this Gorzelanny fuck that he did to Mike Gonzales.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Yeah Muffie! Good hustle there to get to 2nd. One base knock away from a win, kids.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 It's your turn to shine, Jason Bay. You overpaid, washed up, Canadian fucking toilet.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Come on. Gorzelanny ain't no big thing.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I want you to get this fuck where he breathes! I want you to find this nancy-boy Jason Bay, I want him DEAD! I want his family DEAD! I want his house burned to the GROUND! I wanna go there in the middle of the night and I wanna PISS ON HIS ASHES!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Every time Bay comes it seems like I see good stats flashed up on the screen against that particular pitcher. Then I remember that those numbers were from at least one Jason Bay lifetime ago and therefore that history no longer apply to the pod version of Jason Bay that we acquired three years back.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 HOW MANY FUCKING TIMES HAVE WE FUCKED ONE OF THESE PLAYS UP THIS FUCKING YEAR??!?!?!!?????
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Dirty fucking pool by Bernadina on that slide. What a hunk of shit.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 So how much longer do they give Bay? I don't even think we was doing well in those rehab games. If they fall out of contention I guess they keep trotting him out there to see if there is anything left. But I don't see how a team that hopes to be in the hunt keep playing him.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Tejada just took spikes to the leg there, it looks like the runner turned away from the bag to spike him. i say its BEANBALL time tomorrow!
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Christ. This inning should be over.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Did ANYONE expect Beato to win that confrontation?
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Meet the new Chipper Jones, this fucker is going to be doing this for the next 15 years
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 This team just leaves itself no room for error. Two of their three (so far) runs were preventable via balls that hit guys right in the glove.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Boy has Beato been Beat-en. Still just one out.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Every night it's just a different reliever's turn to suck.
