Only bench emptying they do is to send Turner in for Wright.

Wright plays like every day every inning so this was a good time for it. everyone else has pretty much done some platooning. (I'd also swap Thole out)

Who pitches the 9th? Cedeno? Turner?

This reminds me a bit of the Mets' visit to Wrigley in 2010 (which we attended). Two losses, then an 18-5 win in the finale.

Man, I would love it if he would stop in for a conversation with us. Imagine that. And why not, he's as big a Met fan as any of us.

They should have put Ramirez in for the 7th inning to give him a 3-inning save opportunity.

4th team in history to have four players each with four or more RBIs in the same game -- or so says some crawl across the bottom of a screen.

A quirky and totally meaningless stat to be sure, but shirley an oddity to score 17 runs and have all of them driven in by just four players.
