Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 I thought Cuzzi has sucked behind the plate tonight but that call at 1st was plain fucking ridiculous.

Guest Kong76 Guests Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Ike's not an ump favorite, and you can't touch them ..they're very sensitive haha
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 23 walks in 20 IPs !!Geez, that's high even for Marmol.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Tying run or not, I think I prefer Q here instead of Ike.or not

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 ugh. weak swing ends it. Your right Gary C, the Mets just fumbled away two games. Gotta beat these lesser teams. No excuse for not takin 2 of 3 here.

And I know we have been teased by Met teams alot in the past, but I'm okay with that if that's how it ends up. Cause this season has been fun, interesting, exciting at times, and we got that no-no and that alone would have made my year.

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 Mets: tag opposing runner out but runner is called safe; Met ejected protesting wrong call.MFY: opposing batter is called out when MFY falls into stands, touches but does not catch ball; ump assumes catch as he does not even ask MFY to show him the ball when he gets up.

Gee goes out and pitches five innings , hard to beat up on "lesser teams" with that and with playing shoddy baseball. In my mind Mets at Cubs usually goes like this.

The Mets need to rebound and still have a winning road trip, and it's all mostly forgotten.
