Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 @KBurkhardtSNY: It's raining so hard I can't get out of my car at Citi Field. Anyone got an umbrella??@DPLennonWhen the doors open on 7 train, it's like somebody opened a window on a submarine.
Chad ochoseis Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Bright and sunny 25 miles west of Citi in northern NJ, so it sounds like whatever it is, it's localized.

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 I know Ike is getting better, but I'd rather see Rottino in there. And can we please stop with Nickeas already? He might as well bat 9th with Niese 8th.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Hey now, hey now, don't dream Mike's over. He had a big big hit two days ago. He's the proud owner of a two-game hit streak. All trends are pointing up.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Really, until Thole is walking again to the beat of a drum, we've got to make do with what we've got.I might've started him Sunday instead, but I think I get what Terry's trying to do. Cheers, Terry
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 In the irresponsible rumor-spreading department I saw Some Pretend Internet Scoopster report that the Mets would be considered a potential tire-kicker for Kurt Suzuki should Oakland wanna trade him now that they've called up some other dude. Sadly a 75 OPS+ catcher would probably improve things around here.
