Pen was actually fine today (and all series) until Batista to start the 9th ... but that's kinda been the problem, they seem to take turns as to who is going to suck that day.
Even Frank-Frank, who along with Rauch was in for most of the drama, went: K - Easy (but screwed up) grounder - BB - K, all with two inherited runners.

Which is why you should be reluctant to change pitchers if you don't gotta. You find a pitcher who's getting the job done, ride him like a wild stallion until he throws ya. Using five pitchers to get four innings --- that's ass, right there. One of those guys is going to have his underwear on backwards by pure chance. At least one. It's not because you're a bad manager; it's just demographics.

Just swimming at work these days... which is why I took this job in the first place. Having said that, I forgot they were playing until the 6th and then was getting too lousy a signal on my phone to listen when it finally slowed down.
