So Daniel Murphy and Andres Torres are a combined 14 for their last 108 at the plate. Yikes. #Mets

"Well, except for that home run that extended their apparently-unbroachable lead by a run, that was a nice inning of work from Bobby Parnell."

Parnell has had a first-batter problem roughly forever. velocity doesn't ramp up. not sure why. It's better when he nibbles and ends up walking the guy.

I liked Bay better on the disabled list. Duda needs to give him a bear hug and "accidentally" re-injure his ribs.

I'm so sick of hearing about what a nice guy Bay is. And how hard Murphy works. And how much Ike is trying. Get some fucking hits.

When the bottom of this season drops out and the Mets finish 15 games behind the second wild card, you can all point to Bay's return to the lineup as the tipping point for the Mets freefall.

Smoke and mirrors , Gee was good tonight but unless we great brilliant starting pitching we are not winning, too many easy outs and bad at bats in this lineup.
