Guest Mets Willets Point Guests Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 The Mets like to dress up for road trips, so after their afternoon game at home tomorrow, what outfit should they don for the trip to our nation's capital?
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 yeah, but what do they wear for the next leg of the road trip to the Bronx?
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Dress as your favorite special-interest group?
Guest Mets Willets Point Guests Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 That's supposed to be Minor Threat.Probably a Freudian slip because this is sure to be a minor thread on the CPF.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 When I read the first choice, I got nauseous. The last choice made me laugh.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I'm not quite sure what the logic behind when to dress up is, since they did it twice, but never against an NL east opponent.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 The punk shirts is understated, inexpensive, subversive, and vaguely offensive. How can I not click?
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I voted National Park Service unis. Time to salute the folks who keep us safe from bears,B'sides, leave the First Ladies' gowns for Derek Jeter.Later

Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I voted for Giant Foam Presidential Heads. But not the usual suspects; Dickey would make a good Chester Arthur. Bay, always crippled, could be FDR. Lucas Duda could be William H. Taft. Josh Satin, who could be optioned back to Buffalo while the train is moving, could be William Henry Harrison. Keith Hernandez, Civil War buff that he is, could be Ulysses S. Grant, taking nips of bourbon on the sly. And who doesn't see Josh Thole as Martin Van Buren?
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 For the Bronx trip they should dress up as variously different sized, colored and shaped hunks of shit.
