Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Or is that just the knucklers?Dickey. Norris. It's a showdown at 8:05 sharp.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 classic trap series right? crappiest team in the league, Mets are expected to win at least two. This is the Mets last trip to Houston when they'll be competing, however superficially, against the Astros for a playoff spot.i.e. the last time a Mets pitcher will bat in Texas.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I'm looking forward to watching the Mets knock around quasi-retarded Bud Norris tomorrow. Seriously, he looks like a penny eater to me.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 It's the last day of the month, and today's game has potentially big Schaefer implications.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I figure maybe it's his day to catch a blow. I don't think he's sat yet.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 (edited) Yes, but against a hard-throwing righty? That's his biscuits-and-chicken, man. (I presume he eschews bread and butter for something more... substantial.)Maybe he ran afoul of some banditos? Edited April 30, 2012 by Guest
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 More curious to me is Torres returning but Terry keeping Nieuie in the leadoff spot.Maybe he wants to give Torres a chance to get going first.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Maybe it depends on the opposing starter. I bet if the Astros were pitching a lefty Nieuwenhuis and Torres would be flip-flopped in the order.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Lucas with the (post-nasal) drip on.Lucas Duda is sick. No injury. Flu or something.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Dickey is performing capably through 4.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Yes he is. The Mets should score him some runs.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Buck me! Torres robbed of a triple.

Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Dickey is pitching effectively through 5.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Combo of a few fine ABs last time thru + Dickey's quick inning + top of the order = Smashy time
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Leadoffy single. Can this Norris guy hold a runner?
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 We strike out A LOT. That bugs me.
