Or is that just the knucklers?

Dickey. Norris. It's a showdown at 8:05 sharp.

classic trap series right? crappiest team in the league, Mets are expected to win at least two.

This is the Mets last trip to Houston when they'll be competing, however superficially, against the Astros for a playoff spot.

i.e. the last time a Mets pitcher will bat in Texas.

I'm looking forward to watching the Mets knock around quasi-retarded Bud Norris tomorrow. Seriously, he looks like a penny eater to me.

Was just thinking, this is the last time we won't have to pack a DH.

Also feeling weirdly nostalgic about Cooter's and Kevin Bass and JR Richards and Joe Niekro and Darryl Kile and Mike Scott and Jose Cruz and Beltran catches and the like.

Bad ass.

I still predict he'll get hurt climbing Tal's Hill.

Yes, but against a hard-throwing righty? That's his biscuits-and-chicken, man. (I presume he eschews bread and butter for something more... substantial.)

Maybe he ran afoul of some banditos?

More curious to me is Torres returning but Terry keeping Nieuie in the leadoff spot.

Maybe he wants to give Torres a chance to get going first.

Combo of a few fine ABs last time thru + Dickey's quick inning + top of the order = Smashy time
