Good bye, hard life, dont cry, would you let it ride?I was flipping channels last night after the game and stumbled across a station showing a somewhat recent (not sure exactly when) Bachman & Turner reunion concert. Only hung on it for a few moments and clicked off when the intro to 'Ain't Seen Nuthin Yet' began (never liked that one). What I was hoping for was a rendition of 'Let it Ride' which was always my favorite BTO song.

TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 I still associate BTO with TCB and Willie Randolph walking on to the field at Shea after a Mets win in 2006.I know they still play the song after a win at Citi, but I will always think of Willie during the opening chords of TCB.I wish they played a different song now.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 And it's the forum's choice as well, as noted here.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 In the brief few minutes I saw of the Bachman/Turner show, Randy Bachman introduced 'YASNY' as the song no one thought much about and only got included on the record as an afterthought ... "and then it sold ____ million copies and was #1 for ____ weeks".
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 My internet radio was feeding me a bunch of The Guess Who last year while I was running. I hadn't realized how much I enjoyed them and it prompted me to download a couple of albums. I'd take them over BTO. I feel a Band Challenge may be coming on...
