G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Desperately seeking offense against Mark Buehrle...and a second win in a row, somehow.

Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Wednesday lineup vs. Miami: Nieuwenhuis-CF, Tejada-SS, Murphy-2B, Wright-3B, Duda-RF, Hairston-LF, Davis-1B, Thole-C, Dickey-RHPThe Mets are undefeated against the Miami Marlins. This will be my first time seeing the Miami Marlins.Tonight's promotion is a window cling.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 I fear Buerhle more than all other Marlin pitchers.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 The window cling looks pretty nice. In the quick glimpse of it I saw, I failed to see a Xerox logo on it. Did I miss it, or is it possible that the Mets are giving away a sponsored item that's untainted by a corporate logo?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 A pretty lefty-licious lineup for Buehrle to face, no?
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Wonder if anyone will accidentally lose their cling somewhere that I can grab a freebie?
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Looking forward to this game , looking forward to seeing Beuhrle and how fast he works, faster than Trachsel?
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Get one for me! I can't afford to decorate my car.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 It'd be tough debut for Lutz, but I might well try and get him and Turner in there.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Davis hitting 7th. This will only be the second time he's hit that low in the lineup. (He batted 7th once in 2010.)Can't say I have a problem with that. I think he should probably sit for a game or two but I do understand the desire to keep him in there, especially with two other regulars (Bay and Torres) on the DL.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Anybody have a scouting report on this shit character?
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 he's been a mainstay of our lineup, rotation, bullpen and bench (not to mention our minor leagues too) for decades now. where have you been?As for being too leftilicious, the only spots you could even start a RH bat over a current starter would be Nickeas over Thole, but Thole is a better hitter against LHers than Nickeas is against... well, anybody. or you could start Turner or Lutz over Davis, but Collins already said he was going to stay with Davis today ("cahnfidence, dontcha know").

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Gary says the Mets resigned Brad Eamus and have signed Fred Lewis, remember him?
