Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Someone said Lutz, Valdespin, Rottino all in the lineup for Buffalo, indicating no DLNA anyway.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Holy Catalanotto! The third baseman has to bat third!
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 If the season ended yesterday, the Mets would be traveling to Phoenix for a one game do or die qualifying game against the D-Backs.

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 If I can learn how to spell Nieuwenhuis (and I have!) then, if necessary, I can learn how to spell Tuiasosopo.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 It's spelled exactly as it sounds.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 sounds like DL likely for Wright, who still can't swing/swollen pinky. Will try again tomorrow, but who knows if one day suddenly makes a difference.Collins apparently confirms Murphy would go to third, Cedeno/Turner at second which seems like the universally panned move by critics. I support Murphy-Lutz in the infield myself.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Murphy at third and Turner at second seems the way to go to me.

(An attempt to counteract the secretly-pretty-good Philly 'pen?)
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Can we call Zack lutZ ZZ?
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 As we learned from the Delgado game at the old house of evil, Bluehats on the road means good offensive things.Nice to have those early hits against Lee.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Just as Gary's talking about all Lee's shutouts, double double and 1-0.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 KABOOM for...do my eyes deceive me...Jason Bay!
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Oh my god! Bay did something good.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Josh, you're riding the bench for the rest of the series.
Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Did Rollins mouth something? Hard to tell..I'll wait to see what Thole says (taht said, don't listen to the freaking enemy and drill Rollins please)Bay with an outfield assist too?
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Most likely answer is that Rollins told Thole not to slide because the play was at first. Thole, like an idiot, thought it was foul and jogged back to first.
Guest Mets Willets Point Guests Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Hairston homers and dang if the Philly crowd isn't really quiet.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 That was a big ol' shot.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Jeez, Dickey even fields like an old-timey baseballer, doesn't he?
