I saw an article in the paper about luxurious showers that allow you to lie down while you're showering.

So does this mean that people want to lie down in the shower but stand in the MRI, but don't want to stand in the shower or lie down in the MRI?

laying down in the shower seems like a bad idea (spoiler alert: take a bath) but I could use a nice seat with a cupholder.

It just seems to me, if you're going to spend a half hour in a coffin, with machinery grinding all about you, you might as well spend your time chilling on your back and thinking of England.

It's ostensibly better-- if only minorly-- for claustrophobics. (Me? Well, given the choice, I'd rather do most things lying down.)
