Does that include players on the Senators, or at least those who moved from Washington to Texas?

via Baseball reference, so I assume since franchise inception.

How many players have Houston and Los Angeles/California/Anaheim/Los Angeles of Anaheim had?

In case he makes his Mets debut while I'm at work today, I wanted to post a picture of Robert Carson in action -

As always, anyone who is nice to MK is alright in my book -

It wasn't a pretty debut, but Garrett Olson became the 936th NYM on 8/8/12, facing 5 batters and actually retiring one of them.

I suppose there's some relief to the 'kid' (now 28 y/o) that it wasn't his ML virgin effort.

Projected Milepost Mets

940 Adam Loewen, Buffalo outfielder
950 Zack Wheeler, Buffalo starting pitcher
960 Raul Reyes, Binghamton outfielder
970 Adam Kolarek, Binghamton relief pitcher
980 Kai Gronauer, St. Lucie catcher
990 Juan Torres, St. Lucie catcher
1000 Blake Forsythe, St. Lucie catcher (!!!)

Doesn't look like Gronauer is making the majors.

950 looks good for Wheeler though, I think it depends on what spot in the rotation he ends up with next year( assuming he does anyway, if not 950 might be low)

I'd be shocked if any of those tickets came in on the money. And I wouldn't be surprised if only Wheeler ever tasted a postgame spread as a Met. (Gronauer and Reyes have both been demoted this season.)

Just taking a snapshot, using only vaguely scientific principles. Predicting the future is HARD.

just weighing in.

The Wheeler one is interesting actually. How many new Mets do we think debut as Sept callups, and how many are new for Opening Day? does that put us past 950?

Word is probably Familia. Lagaras is on the 40 man so an easy call up. Havens?

Met Number 931: Omar Quintanilla

Fact About Captain Quint: Once traded for Jay Witasick.

I noticed this pic on UMDB as well. Its not Omar, its Jordany. Players in column Q get no love.

Buffalo's final game has been rained out in central PA - so it's jail break time for the call-ups in a rush to get to StL
Planes, trains and automobiles at the ready.

Fred Lewis and Jeurys Familia need numbers. My guess:

Lewis - 22
Familia - 47
