Matt Double-D opening the pre-season for the team. Interesting too to see Rottino debut at third. He'll need to play four positions to make this team. Him and Pascucci is the matchup to watch.

Turner is the closest thing to regular appearing.

I like that the uni distinction is gray pants vs. white pants.

I'll go 50 the same way. I have a feeling Lurch Pascucci puts a charge into Dillon's middling stuff.

Anybody have a pitcher list? I'm not putting my cranes on the table until I see who's pitching after inning two.

I've got Nieuwenhuis going deep myself.

I see Batista, Hefner and Francisco on the Whites.

My kid Legares played center and right in the minors last year, so he probably has a good arm.
I wonder why is he in left and Baxter in right. Its not like he would be a platoon with Duda in right because they're both lefty hitters.

This would be a good time for "Niese would lose by a nose" but he's not pitching.

I'll read this as Gee, Familia, Herrera, and Byrdak for the Gray Gaiters, and Harvey, Batista, Hefner, and Francisco for the Blank Bloomers.

Baxter is in right, I would think, because he is trying out for the big club who needs to see if they can use him there. He's higher on the depth chart.

Loewen, on the other hand is in left, so...

3 Ks in 2 scoreless for my boy Hyoo-Rees. T-minus 6 months until he shows-- book it.

Probably the biggest step between Captain Kirk and the major leagues is his weaknesses hitting off LHPs - so this is a decent sign no matter how minor.

Terry promises to get the starters all in tomorrow's lineup. Starting infielders on one team, starting outfielders and catcher on t'other.

If someone can find a link to a box score of yesterday's (first) intrasquad game, can you please post it?
Thanks,

Harumph. You should never wear white pants before Memorial Day.
