Check out these guys. The jawlines aren't quite right, and no numbers are visible, but the body types and body language and proximity suggest they're some sort of semi-inspired analogs for Reyes and Wright. The grandstands even kinda sorta suggest CitiField, with the light coming through the gap between the upperdeck and the overhang.

But they're not Reyes and Wright. And no, they're not your buds. These two phonies are pulling double duty across town playing Robinson Cano and Mark Teixiera.

Yeah, Budweiser sucks. They made a mistake and plastered a 7 train car with the latter ads earlier this year.

Interestingly, the Fake Yankees have the lights blazing in broad daylight, while the Fake Mets keep them off at dusk, all the better to see Northern Queens' famous Aurorora Borealis.

We don't need no steenking Aurora Borealis to light up OUR sky. There are enough bright young stars in Northern Queens.

Strange that the Yankee/Met in the nearground has a lefthanded infielder's glove, like he's Mike Squires or somebody.

Can anyone here remember the last time they drank a Budweiser?

Nope? Me either.

I could look it up, since I've tracked all my beers this year in the untappd app. I've had two, both at a wedding two weeks ago because catering calls don't have beer selections.

Those stadiums are different although the dugouts the same in the pictures. the YS one is clearly YS (at least in the sense that you can see the stupid white fence thing in the top right) Weird when you look that closely.

I thought that this was sort of a national ad campaign, playing in every MLB city.

The player in the foreground is Jeterish to my eyes; the other player is Wrightish.

He makes the beer better just by running past it.

But a lefty. I think they designed these guys just generically enough and with just enough face hdden that you can project what you expect to see. I mean, the apparent race of the foreground guy isn't even clear.

Looks like they change the overhang on the park to suggest different ballparks.
