He's about three strong seasons from Jesse's all-time game mark. At Mariano's age, especially, both talent and baseball health can disappear in an instant. Not that Mariano's shown any hint of slowing down. He's still dominating hitters. Orosco pitched until he was 46 and a half. Rivera'll probably shatter Orosco's record if he pitches that long.
